Type 1: Thesis Only

no coursework (for students who have Social Sciences/ Anthropology/ Sociology background in Bachelor and master’s degree)
Program Admission Conditions
• A student who has completed a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, or Anthropology discipline with outstanding results.

• For students who first language is not English, document evidence of competence in both written and spoken English must be provided.

This is normally taken from of results within two years of applying in an:
 - IELTS Academic overall band 6.0;
 - TOEFL not less than 500 (paper-based), or 173 (computer-based), or 61 (internet-based);
 - CMU-TEGS except for 65

Type 2: Coursework

Program Admission Conditions
• A student who has completed a master's degree in any discipline or its equivalent in any discipline with outstanding results.
• For students who first language is not English, document evidence of competence in both written and spoken English must be provided.
This is normally taken from of results within two years of applying in an:
 - IELTS Academic overall band 6.0;
 - TOEFL not less than 500 (paper-based), or 173 (computer-based), or 61 (internet-based);
 - CMU-TEGS except for 65

Tuition Fee
Foreign Student 77,500 Baht per semester
Thai Student 57,500 Baht per semester

Period of Study
• The period of study for students with a master’s degree in THREE years, not to exceed five academic years.
• The academic year is divided into two regular semesters; the first semester starts from June – October and the second semester starts from November – March.

Required Documents for applicants
1. A recent formal photograph (*passport size, **no hat or glasses)
2. An official master graduate academic transcript with graduation date (English Only)
3. A copy of passport / A copy of Thai ID Card (for Thais)
4. A copy of the document certifying name or surname changing or document of marriage registration (if any)
5. A statement of purpose or a PhD research outline (Required)
*** Documents to be uploaded via online admission must be scanned in PDF format
